Mission

A mission statement is the organization’s purpose for being and involves the totality of what they desire to accomplish.

The MISSION of Christ Wesleyan Church is to be a

Christ-centered Family of God,

focused on touching lives and reaching others.

Christ-Centered – Our greatest desire is to be Christ-Centered.  Christ is the head of the church and His direction and guidance is what we pledge to follow.

Family of God – As children of God we are called to serve together as brothers and sisters.  We desire unity under our One Father and Lord of all.

Touching Lives & Reaching Others – We believe that God has called us into the world, to love and witness as Jesus would.  This does not happen from a distance, so we desire to build relationships with people and be involved in people’s lives.

Ephesians 4:1-6

“As a prisoner for the Lord, the, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

Vision

A Vision is a mental image of a possible and desirable future.  It defines the future, sets direction, includes dreams and describes the impossible.

The VISION of Christ Wesleyan Church is for all people to experience the Life-changing presence of God, and through prayer, be guided by the Holy Spirit.  We purpose to discover and use our spiritual gifts to unify the body of Christ, promote a strong family ministry and to inspire missions.

Life-Changing Presence of God – We believe that where the presence of God is lives change, people grow closer in relationship and the Holy Spirit has a greater freedom to speak to our hearts.

Discover and Use Spiritual Gifts – We believe that God has uniquely gifted every person for the purpose of building up and unifying the Church.

Strong Family Ministry – We believe that the greatest way for a local church to make an impact on the community is to strengthen the family.  Family Ministries will be our primary focus in the coming days.

Inspire Missions – We hope to inspire people to be involved in reaching our local community and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is a universal call to all believers.
