Thanks for dropping by.  Now that you’ve had a chance to check us out online, we'd love to have you join us.  We are an established church with a history of ministry and involvement in the Greensboro community for over one hundred years.  Through the years God has blessed us with many faithful families, and caring pastoral leadership.

One of the first things you notice about Christ Wesleyan is the friendliness of our people.  We live by a motto that says, “All People Matter To God.”  Therefore we want everyone who comes to worship with us to feel the love of God, and to know that they matter to us as well.  We hope that very soon you will feel like you are part of the family.    

Our worship atmosphere could be described as being traditional, however our goal is not to fit into just one category.  Whether through hymns, praise choruses or special times of prayer, we desire to draw from all forms of worship that can best communicate what God wants to say to us.  Our main goal in the development of our worship services is to achieve three goals.  We want our worship to be Meaningful, Relevant and done with a commitment to Excellence.

·        Meaningful – Having direct application to our daily lives and how God may desire to use Scripture to speak directly to our hearts.

·        Relevant – Communicating the message of the Gospel in ways that best reach people today, and address the needs of today’s world.

·        Commitment to Excellence – We want everything we do in worship to be the best we can offer to God as our offering of praise and thanksgiving.

We believe that every person has a God-sized void in their hearts, that can only be filled by God’s Son, Jesus Christ.  By seeking His forgiveness and inviting Him to become the leader of our lives, we begin a spiritual relationship that fills that void and brings even greater joy and fulfillment to life.  At Christ Wesleyan, we want all people to know that no matter where you are in your spiritual journey you are welcome to worship with us.
